Science & Engineering Ambassadors scheme
Science and Engineering Ambassadors are people with science, technology, engineering and mathematics skills employed in a variety of occupations at all levels who go into schools to interest and motivate young people in science and technology. They may be employed as scientists, engineers or mathematicians, or they may be using those skills in other environments.

The main qualities required by a potential Ambassador are enthusiasm and commitment as well as a passion for what you do and the wish to inspire young people. You should have the ability to communicate with young people- a good story to tell and a good way to tell it!

SEAs will provide induction training to help you understand the school environment and the kind of work you can undertake.
