How to apply
Technology discounts: Voluntary (Not For Profit) organisations
If the voluntary organisation where you are volunteering is interested in purchasing IBM equipment or software they may do so, purchasing it at discounts similar to those available to IBM employees.
Check that the organisation is qualified to apply for a Technology discount under the On Demand Community guidelines and has the required documentation.
Provide the organisation with the Technology discounts URL listed below, which allows them access to the “ready-to-order” pages. Emphasise that this programme is for qualifying organisations only and that discounts must not be passed to others. Verification of Charity status or Not For Profit status will be validated at the point of sale. In the UK order fulfilment is through the following key distribution partner:

Why has IBM created this pricing structure for hardware and software?
As part of our wider support to the communities where IBM operates we want to enable voluntary organisations and schools to buy IBM equipment at a discount.
What organisations are eligible to participate?
All schools and voluntary (charities or Not For Profit) organisations that meet the On Demand Community guidelines are eligible (include link to the guidelines).
How do organisations participate?
First see if the voluntary organisation or school is eligible under On Demand Community guidelines. If it is, you can refer the organisation to: www.ibm.com/uk/pc/ibmepp (Password = savenow)
What products are available?
There is a wide range of Laptops, PCs, monitors, accessories and upgrades available through the EPP site.
Can this programme be shared with friends and family?
No. This programme was specifically designed for voluntary organisations and schools. There is a separate but similar programme in some EMEA countries for friends and families.
Is there a limit to how much an organisation can purchase?
Yes, there is a ceiling of 10 purchases (i.e. 10 ‘complete’ systems) per year. However any organisation wishing to purchase more may submit their request for consideration.
Does this programme include services?
No, services are not included.
