From the M60 take junction 7
Turn onto the A56, heading towards Sale and Altrincham. On approaching Sale town centre, there is a set of traffic lights with Marks & Spencer immediately on the left-hand side. Turn left at these lights and Jackson House is immediately to your right hand side.
Please take care when turning right into the IBM car park.
From the M6 take junction 19
After coming up the slip road take the third exit and follow the A556, Chester Road. At the next roundabout take the second exit A56. Continue down this road for about four and a half miles. On approaching Sale Town Centre there is a road sign indicating that the M60/Manchester A56 are straight ahead, with directions for Carrington A6144, and Northenden A6144 (B5166). On the opposite side to this sign there is a TC Decor and Pioneer shop - continue straight through these traffic lights and continue on this road for approximately 400 yards. Turn right at next set of traffic lights, you will see Jackson House on the right hand corner. Take the next right again to enter the car park.
The building car park at Jackson House is under the management of the landlord. Please note: vehicles found to be parked incorrectly will incur daily charges of £25.00 plus a £10.00 administration fee, payable by the individual.
It is strongly recommended that, if you are visiting or based at Jackson House, you familiarise yourself with the car park layout (plans attached), paying particular attention to IBM's allocation of parking bays. Regular users should also ensure that they have the necessary IBM permit clearly displayed in the windscreen of their vehicle, and make visitors and colleagues aware of this scheme. There is a frequent service to and from Piccadilly station, Manchester. The Altrincham tram stops at Sale station; journey time is approximately 15 minutes.
If coming from Manchester Airport take a train to Piccadilly station and catch a tram from there as instructed above.
Turn left out of the station and follow the road left down Springfield Road (which becomes Sibson Road) for about 200 yards. Jackson House is on the left hand side, on the corner of Washway Road and is situated opposite to Marks & Spencer.
Manchester International Airport is approximately ten miles from IBM's offices. The taxi journey from the airport takes approximately 30 minutes.
Catch either a 263 or a 264 from Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. These both travel along the A56, Washway Road, Get off the bus at the layby directly next to Marks & Spencer. Jackson House is on the opposite corner to the shop.
There are 16 bike fixings on the upper deck of the car park, they are located near the side entrance to reception. There are also 6 fixings on a rack in the lower car park area.
