Thanks to the official Roland-Garros mobile application developed by IBM, fans can follow scores, statistics and match analysis in real time with their smartphone or tablet. And for the first time, IBM SlamTracker is now part of the applications in order to follow live keys to the match.

For the first time, the French Federation of Tennis is notified in real time of records breaking by players during the tournament. Social Leaderboard

Who are the favorite players of internet users during the tournament? The Social Leaderboard tracks all the tweets talking about the tournament in order to determine the most popular players in real time. Every tweet is then analysed to see how positive they are, providing a ‘Sentiment’ ranking.

Data and predictive analytics

IBM SlamTracker analyses over 41 million data points from eight years of Grand Slam data to identify patterns in players styles. This analysis enables IBM to determine the ‘Keys to the Match’, the key things each player should focus on in order to win, all updated in real time on IBM SlamTracker
