Mr. Sunny Banerjea is the Global Solutions Executive for IBM’s Banking Industry. He is responsible for IBM’s banking solutions business, globally. His prior role was as Americas Banking Leader where he was responsible for the Banking business in the Americas. Before that he held various leadership roles as a Management Consultant including being the Strategy and Change Practice Leader, Innovation Leader and the Global Banking Leader for IBM’s Institute of Business Value. His expertise is in developing and executing business and customer strategy with a particular focus on retail banking and credit card operations. He has experience in building global practices, managing large engagements, authoring papers, and advising senior management at leading financial institutions. Mr. Banerjea has been widely quoted in Industry Journals and other Media, and is a sought after speaker at Industry Conferences. His prior leadership roles have been as a member of the Leadership Team with the Financial Services Consulting Practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He advises some of the largest banks in the US and global financial institutions in Europe, Eastern Europe, ASEAN members, India, Russia and China.
