Ms. Mesaglio joined Gartner in 1998 as a research analyst. In 1999, she became senior research analyst and team lead for the enterprise platforms group in Gartner Decision Tools, a division of Gartner Research in Stamford, Connecticut, U.S. She led the enterprise platforms group until 2001, when she moved to Barcelona, Spain. After leading business development for a local technology company in Barcelona, Ms. Mesaglio rejoined Gartner in 2003 as relationship manager for Gartner Executive Programs, where she was responsible for CIOs and IT directors across Spain and Portugal. In 2007, Ms. Mesaglio joined the Gartner CIO Research team. She is responsible for conducting research and developing publications aimed at helping CIOs and their organizations around the world improve their performance and contribution to the business. Ms. Mesaglio specializes in CIO-related management issues, including how IT can support innovation, making IT strategy real, the office of the CIO, IT and corporate planning, and Gartner's annual CIO agenda.
