As of September 1, 2000  Freddy Van den Wyngaert joined Agfa-Gevaert NV and became Vice President and CIO with worldwide responsibility for Global Information and Communication Services (GICS).
As of January 1, 2006 with Agfa HealthCare NV he is now CIO with worldwide responsibility for ICS (Information and Communication Services) and HealthCare Process Redesign Program (HPR).
