Commitment to Community Involvement
IBM is focused on giving back to the community and sponsors many leading programmes: With IBM’s launch of On Demand Community, IBM employee volunteers now have over 200 valuable technology solutions, resources and grants to share with schools and local agencies that are making a difference in our community.
In Ireland over 500 employees and retirees are actively involved in donating their time and skills to schools and organisations in the communities in which they live and work. Link to On Demand Community website (US)
Requests for Grants, Donations and Sponsorships
IBM's philanthropic resources are allocated to specific projects and programmes that fit within our targeted areas of interest. The overwhelming majority of grants are initiated by IBM, do not stem from unsolicited proposals, and involve multi-year commitments. Subsequent grants will grow out of these efforts after the current grants have run their course. IBM does not permit fund-raising events or activities at any IBM locations.
While not encouraged, unsolicited proposals are reviewed on an ongoing basis. If your organisation chooses to submit an unsolicited proposal, please note the following guidelines.
