Country General Manager, IBM Ireland Ltd.
Michael Daly, IBM's Country General Manager, formerly Director of IBM Global Services, began his career with IBM in 1985, having completed his studies at Trinity College and worked for a time in Financial Services.
Since joining IBM Michael has worked across several divisions. Working initially in IBM‘s SW Laboratory (IISL); then in the roles of Technical Support Manager for IBM and IISL; Technical Services Manager and IT Availability Services Manager before successfully running IBM's Global Services division. He was appointed Country General Manager in 2002.
He is a board member of ICT Ireland and the American Chamber of Commerce, a council member of the Irish Management Institute (IMI), and is a member of IBEC's national executive council.
