Each one of the centers is specialized for a single activity. Centers are devoted to IBM administrative, financial, sales and business activities for the individual regions.
During past years it has grown to encompass more than 30 international centers, where more than 69 different nationalities speaking in 46 different languages.

IBM Finance organization is an integral part of the IBM Corporation. Comprised of 10,000 employees worldwide, Finance covers every geography and business unit within IBM and is the "knowledge behind the numbers" that are presented quarterly and annually to the global financial community.
The mission of the Bratislava Financial Center of Excellence is to drive business results through reduced complexity and increased standardization in the end to end financial processes for all IBM business units.

The history of Global Process Delivery Centre (GPSD-D) is going back to the year 2000 with later formalization of Business Process Organization in 2005.
