Finance positions
Financial Analyst / Controller
Manage and control key financial measurements such as revenue, cost, expense, gross profit Work for defined business units of IBM:
- IBM HW (System and Technology Group) and SW (Software Group)
- IBM Services (Global Technology Services & Global Business Services)
- Expense and resources
- Be a Trusted Business Advisor for CFO, country and business unit leaders
Pricing Specialist
- Calculation of prices for IBM HW and Services deals
- Analysis of profitability of deal / profitability assessment
- Applying appropriate guidelines and obtain pricing approvals
- Provide advice and recommendation to the business unit
- Provide financial analysis of Bids in cooperation with a very broad community of specialists
Financial Specialist for US GAAP Accounting
- Assure true recording and summarization of all IBM's business transaction and events
- Produce financial statement in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting principles
- Supporting customers world wide
- Work in a very dynamic and multicultural environment supporting customers worldwide
- Analytical and logical thinking is a must, also sense for details
Incentive Financial Analyst
- Manages the Incentives Payment for the IBM Sales Force in the European countries
- Responsible for owning and resolving problems and issues
- Collects and analyzes financial results of the sales population
- Verifies automated achievement, calculates adjustments
- Works closely with the Incentives function and frequently communicates with Sales Managers in the European countries Requirements
Business support positions
Complaint Resolution Specialist
- Direct support to IBM client complaints and critical situations
- Acknowledge ownership to client
- Understand the context and background of the client’s problem/request
- Negotiate IBM commitments with client
- Develop action plans and drive to resolve
- Identify and engage appropriate resources
- For selected complex complaints or critical situations involve an Expert-Resolution Owner
- Recognize major obstacle and escalate if needed
- Keep complaint management tool (CMT) updated
Claim Resolution Owner
- Provision of advice to sales representatives about the claims process and how to successfully navigate through it (assigned claims which are valued from several hundred $s to upward of $1m)
- Providing information to and liaising with the recommender (typically senior Finance Manager or Business Unit Executive) as the basis for their speedy decision on whether the claim should be approved or rejected.
- Collation of information, requesting additional information where required, from other IBM Departments
- Monitor claims and drive actions until claim closed within target closure times.
- Communicate management decision to Customers/Business Partners
- Arrange with Administration the collection of equipment, raising of credits/cheques in a timely manner and ensuring Credit Note/Cheque is received by the Customer in a timely manner.
- Initiate, manage and support process improvement projects which deliver improved metrics (claim volume, value, cycle time), increase efficiency and effectiveness, and reduce workload
Claim Coordination / Client Satisfaction Support
- This role involves good client focus and analysis skills, understanding the business and ensuring the solutions offered meet customers' needs, Work closely with IBM internal functions and sales & services people
- Providing consultation, analysis and support for Sales & Services people
- Handle customer claims according to the implemented processes
- Support for Client Satisfaction programs
Pre-Sales Support Specialist
- Jointly works with IBM sellers or IBM Business Partners across European countries to respond to end-customer's request for price or proposals
- Responsible for validating requests, creating quotes and managing solution designs, developing timetables, communicating and tracking as required
- Engage with and cultivate relationships with Sellers, Business Partners and variety of IBM functions Sales Support Assistant
- Employees in this role provide direct assistance to sales representatives in performing a flexible set of activities driven by acquired knowledge of the sector, products, and IBM clients
- On behalf of the Sales team aiming try to increase sales productivity and to gain additional potential revenue.
- The roles and responsibilities of sales relationships and sales assistance professionals include pipeline management, data quality handling, sales operations support, forecasting support, internal relationship management and coordination activity with all IBM functions
Customer Fulfillment Administrator
- Support of IBM’s customers, sales force and business partners from initial sales support through contract signing, delivery, invoice and revenue collection
- Communication with customers, business partners and IBM counterparts
- Administrative preparation and management of hardware, software and services contracts
- Management of the end to end order process for IBM’s business partners and customers

Sales and Operations positions
Analyst for Sales & Operation
- Developing and maintaining database applications using advance techniques for manipulating, distributing, securing and presenting data
- Assess business problems or requests and formulate business solutions focusing on improving performance and productivity
- Design and implement design elements and solutions that fulfil business needs by developing advanced functionality and deliverables
- Consulting on best practice and implications of specific proposals, including correct interpretation of user requirements through to development and design
Operation Analyst for ibm.com
- The person in this role provides a wide range of Business Management support to business leaders, including:
- Decision supporting indicators based on targets, actual, assessment and pipeline;
- End-to-end execution of specific processes, giving support and direction to the business;
- Implementation of the global strategies, raising and addressing local requirements and deviations;
- Setting up and management of reporting systems and data analysis
- Collaborate actively with other units in IBM such as Sales Operations, Finance, Incentives, Customer Fulfillment, etc.
- Ad hoc reporting based on requests from the regional and global sales management
Sales positions
Telesales Representative (Internal Brand Sales Specialist)
- Sell IBM offerings directly to customers or through IBM Business Partners via phone/e-mail
- Take ownership for specific opportunities where he/she posses the sales and technical expertise required to conduct all phases of sales cycle
- Understand competition and develop appropriate sales strategies to drive business
Telesales Representative – Subscription & Support Renewals (Inside Brand Sales Specialist)
- Close identified transactions with customers
- Explore customer needs, develop the appropriate solution and close the deal
- Present IBM's value and position IBM against competitors
- Develop quotations with appropriate products, quantities and prices
- Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities independently and provide accurate forecasts
- Take ownership of the complete sales and fulfilment process
- Manage relations with IBM Business Partners, Field Sales Reps and supporting functions in the IBM country organizations
- Continuously broaden & deepen technical product skills
Sales Support for ibm.com
- Employees in this role specialize in Maintenance & Technical Support Services.
- They are deployed to specific opportunities where they apply their sales and solution expertise, to close the business for IBM.
- Responsibilities include matching IBM solutions to customer requirements and selling IBM offerings directly to customers.
- They will develop and maintain expertise in a designated set of IBM offerings.
- They must understand competition and develop appropriate winning sales strategies.
- Employees in this role will present the value of IBM solutions to all levels of customer management and drive services product line sales; and for the customer's satisfaction with the engagement and offerings.
- They must be effective in teaming with other IBM sales and technical sales resources to provide complete solutions to customer business requirements. Main focus will be on follow-up of renewals for specific country set.

Web Developer
- Build or maintain web pages/site according to project schedule
- Reviews pages/site for content accuracy
- Responsible for overall quality and accuracy of site, but not responsible for quality of the message

IT/Technical positions
Technical Support
- Support an IBM application, called „CHIS“, which is used by internal/external IBM customers to maintain and manage contracts for IBM hardware and software products
- Help analyzing CHIS databases to find the reported problem, re-creating problems on a test system
- Cooperate with IT service providers and the CHIS programmers
- Requirements
- Analytical skills and accuracy
- Ability to solve problems
- Interest in technical work with complex database systems (queries, data structures, table relations...)
Customer Service Representative
- Provide excellent customer service in IT support
- Handle internet and telephone based customer queries from IBM employees in Central & Eastern Europe
- Perform problem determination and recording of accurate details on all incoming queries and problems.
- Deal with both technical and non-technical people at all levels within the organisation
- Undertake internal and external training as required.
- Ensure timely resolution of critical customer requests to ensure IBM business continuity
- Work as part of a team and escalate issues where necessary to the Team Subject Matter Expert or Team Leader
- Must adhere to the monthly schedule, times for break, lunch and off-phone time
- Developing knowledge on IBM applications such as Lotus Notes, Windows Operating Systems, LAN/WAN networks and TCP/IP connectivity, Printing solutions, Main frame applications, Global Web architecture
