The internship program is specifically for students entering their final course of studies, and who are interested in committing at least 20 hours per week in both professional development and their own diploma work. Interns will be paired with experienced mentors to develop professional skills and also guide their studies, as well as participate in specialized training to familiarize them with IBM business practices and opportunities for career development.
IBM offers a number of different Student Schemes for very talented individuals at different stages of their academic careers. Although the placements are incredibly diverse (with opportunities ranging from deeply technical roles to sales and marketing placements), all of our placements provide a real opportunity to work for one of the world's leading technology and services companies.
By joining one of these schemes, you'll become a part of the IBM student community, as well as a key member of the team in which you work. As well as all this, your personal and professional growth will be fuelled by the first-class education, training and work experience, which IBM is ideally placed to provide.
To succeed at IBM you will need visible passion and enthusiasm, combined with a clear focus on providing the excellent service our customers expect and demand. That means having the mental agility to analyse and solve problems and the intellect to question and challenge accepted practices.
If this sounds like the sort of place you want to work then explore our comprehensive website for a wealth of information on IBM's Student Schemes and information on how to get involved!
