How to apply

If you’re interested in finding out more about our selection process, this information is below. The selection process will differ slightly depending on which type of role you are applying for. You will receive further details of what to expect during the process once you have passed the application screening stage. On average you can expect the whole selection process to take between 2 - 4 weeks.

STEP 1 - Creating your CV template

In order to apply to IBM, you will need to complete our standard application form. Click on ‘Apply now’ on the right hand side of the page, and depending on whether you are looking for a student or graduate position, select ‘Student/Internship’ or ‘Entry level’.

STEP 2 - Submit your application

Once you have completed your CV template you will be able to submit this online for any of the vacancies that we have available. You will receive an e-mail confirming that your application has been submitted successfully.

STEP 3 – Interview / Assessment Center

Whether you will be invited to an Assessment Center or not depends on the particular position you're applying for. Our assessment centers are designed so that we can observe you while taking part in a number of activities to assess the competencies we believe are important for our business. These will vary depending on which role you have applied for, however you can expect to take part in further group activities, interviews and case studies. If you need to do any preparation before the assessment center, we will let you know in advance.

If an Assessment Center is not required, you will be invited to an interview with the Hiring Manager and a Recruitment Specialist where you'll discuss your professional achievements, challenges and career plans and you'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have regarding the particular job role or about working at IBM.
