About us

Business Transformation Outsourcing (BTO) combines process, people and technology transformation in an outsourced delivery model. Rather than just taking over a client’s existing processes, IBM draws on its industry expertise, intellectual capital and engagement experience to achieve both cost efficiency and enterprise optimization through continuous strategic change.

The IBM BTO in Krakow

was founded in 2002 and is a strategic part of IBM’s global delivery footprint. Currently, over 1200 people work in the Center serving several international clients from over a dozen countries, offering unique solutions, knowledge and expertise.

Our employees, their knowledge, experience, education and dedication are our main asset. Over 85% of our employees have university degrees and speak more than 24 languages including English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, Italian, English, German, Swedish, Danish, Finnish and Latvian. Many of our employees have Polish as well as international financial and accounting qualifications, including: ACCA, MBA, and Chief Accountant.

The development of our staff is a key focus therefore we have created a unique development environment for both university graduates as well as people with previous work experience.
