The IBM Foundational & Leadership Competencies, in conjunction with IBM's values, establish a consistent standard of excellence across our organisation and help us to define what it means to be an "IBMer" to our clients, to our partners, and to our IBM colleagues. Because these competencies were developed in conjunction with IBM's values-and reinforce what IBM's values are and why we need to articulate these values-the competencies have been an integral part of how we live the IBM values.
Every IBM employee, no matter his or her job, focusses on ensuring the success of our clients, on improving IBM and the wider world and on extending our talent for building relationships based on trust and integrity.
