Completing the application form
| It is important to think about the skills IBM is looking for and how you can demonstrate to us that you have these. This can be through your degree course, work experience, voluntary work, involvement in clubs and societies or hobbies.
We don’t ask for an IT degree or IT experience for all our vacancies. However, for the majority of our roles you must be able to show a passion for IT - why it interests you, a knowledge of the current developments in IT, why you want to develop skills in this area - that kind of thing. We want you to be excited about the future of technology even if you are not a technical person at the moment.
Be honest with yourself. Think about why you are applying to IBM. If it’s just because you quite fancy working for a global company so you can do a bit of traveling then IBM is probably not for you.
