Student opportunities listed below are only offered at our production facility in Vác IBM DSS does not only seek those with degree, but we also provide jobs for college and university students. Those youngsters who want to get to know an international company's operations during their education period, can join us during their studies too. These experiences will pay off in their future career, as after graduating, these young colleagues, already possess some work experience in multinational environment: they will know the organization of an international company, the different functions, the relations between them, the company's tasks and responsibilities.
We primarily expect those students, who wish to spend their obligatory "profession period" at our plant. We count on them as employees with full value in the everyday job, we support them in their thesis with materials, we provide professional colleague for local consultancy. Our employees have the same job and responsibility as our regular employees, so they can really get to know each other. In case a student can prove that he could be a valuable member of our team, we offer him a full-time employment contract at the end of the "profession period".
We are also awaiting for those full-time students, who would like to do administration work at IBM DSS besides their school activities, in 1-3 days a week.
- During the springtime job-fairs, and from other sources, we collect the applications.
- In March-April, we select the incoming applications, and we favor to those who are ready to work for at least 3 months "practice time" with a full time contract.
- Those who can meet the above criteria, are invited to participate in an assessment center, during which they can prove their abilities in solving problems, their creativity, and professional skills.
- According skills proven at the AC, the HR and the professional managers will evaluate the applicants, and will decide on those who may be offered a job opportunity, and all these applicants are informed within a few days.
- The students will sign a contract with the students' organization that has connect to IBM, and will start working at IBM on the defined date.
From our profession period students, it is a minimum requirement to speak fluent English.
