How to reach?

From the Western (Nyugati) Station, there are two trains going to Vác, in every hour, and you have to get off the train at "Vác-Alsóváros": From September, there is a new train which drives you to Vác within 25 minutes only, form the capital.

The plant is within 5 minutes walk from the station.

It is necessary to know that express trains between Budapest and Vác go through Vác-Alsóváros without intermission.

Hungary's first railway line was between built in 1846, and at that time, the locomotion needed 48 minutes to cover the distance between the two cities. The Hungarian Railways (MÁV) has introduced unique lines between the two cities: these commuters' rails do not stop at any station, but in Vác and Budapest only. The other innovation by the MÁV: on this line, the trains start at the same time in every hour, so the departure is easy to remember for the travellers. There are 6,3 millions of commuters between Vác and Budapest annually.

By car you have to take 2/A main road or road 2 to go to IBM DSS. From 2/A you have to come off at the junction "Vác-Alsóváros" and you have to follow your way to the direction of Vác, until you can see IBM DSS buildings on the right. The travel time, is approximately 25-30 minutes calculating an average Budapest traffic.

The Volánbusz lines, going to Vác, start from Budapest, from the Árpád bridge. Buses depart in every half an hour (or more frequently) but the travel time is much longer: 50-60 minutes. The plant is hard to reach from the bus station, so we do not recommend this form of travel.

If you decide to reach Vác from the direction of Szentendre you can take the ferry from the Isle. (Szentendre - Leányfalu - Tahitótfalu - Vác) In this case you will have to drive through the city.
