The main line of business of IBM Czech Republic is the sale of a wide spectrum of IT technologies, from Data Storage servers and systems to software and IT services, including consultancy.
Integrated Delivery Center Brno
The Integrated Delivery Center (IDC) in Brno is one of the biggest and most diverse IBM delivery centers of its kind. Its core activities focus on providing strategic outsourcing information technology services, including remote server and application support, networking services and end user support.
There are over 2,400 professionals working at the Center now, who form a uniquely diversified team consisting of up to 70 different nationalities, speaking nearly two dozen languages.
The IDC Brno staff provides services to more than 600 clients from around the world, including global banks, industrial corporations and telecommunication, automotive and pharmaceutical companies.
Development
The IDC Brno was established in 2001 with only a handful of employees. Since then it grown precipitously, due to the locations success and high level of client satisfaction. As employees gained expertise, the IDC Brno could extend its scope of work to include more complex tasks and acquire new clients.
The IDC Brno is part of a global network of several dozen delivery centers around the world including Argentina; Australia; Belgium; Brazil; China; Egypt; Hungary; India; Japan; Malaysia; Mexico; Netherlands; New Zealand; Romania; Philippines; Poland; Singapore; South Africa; South Korea; Slovakia; Spain; Taiwan; Thailand and Turkey.
Today the IBM IDC Brno continues to grow. In fact, this April, it opened a new building on its campus creating even more opportunities for career development.
The city
Brno is the metropolis of Moravia and a university town hosting more than 60,000 students. Due to its ideal location in the heart of Europe, 1,5 hour drive from Prague, the multinational structure of IBM IDC Brno is rapidly growing.

ABOUT IBM IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
IBM’s modern history started in the Czech Republic, in Prague, in 1991. Ten years later, on April 2, 2001, was in Technology Park in Brno opened a new services center - Global Services Delivery Center (IDC Brno).
In the Czech Republic you can find two legal entities of IBM (International Business Machines) – IBM Czech republic with HQ in Prague and business operations in Ostrava and Brno; and IBM GSDC(IDC Brno) located in Brno.

Asset Management
Inventory administrator has the overall responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the inventory database. You’ll be updating the inventory database to reflect changes to physical description of inventory (hardware and software), demographic data changes, financial data changes (e.g. ownership, warranty data). Running periodic inventory reports, periodic variance reports and reconciling any variances.
Customer Service/End User Support
Besides IT proficiency of IT Specialists, supporting the end users of our customers is also a key part of our business and dedication. Being a part of this bubbly, fast-paced and multi-cultural teams, brings you to completely different side of IT business. We are looking for extroverted and communicative people with language skills. IT Consultant
Working in IBM Global Business Services, you’ll identify new business or technology opportunities and provide advice and support to our clients.
IT Specialist
You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the technical solutions needed to solve our clients’ business problems. That involves working with state-of-the-art infrastructure and a great variety of expertise we can utilize – Unix/AIX, Windows, Tivoli, Lotus Notes, Oracle DBA, Mainframes...Either you are an enthusiastic graduate or a very experienced, senior specialist, we are looking for you!
Project Manager
Project Managers in IBM are employees who lead and are accountable for the success of a project. Project managers are responsible for an array of activities, including initializing and planning projects, developing project cost structure, tracking and reporting project deliverables, managing risk, managing contracts and/or deliverables associated with a contract, applying project management processes and tools.
PreSales Specialist
PreSales Specialist delivers high quality solutions to clients in response to complex business requirements. Performs many assigned technical tasks including study, analysis, design, programming, product installation, test and system integration. Has in-depth product-, technology-, or industry-related specialized skills and is a strong technology or industry leader working with proposals, requirements, design, implementation and production projects / engagements.
Service and Project Management
An exciting world of opportunities within Service & Project Management offers many positions involved in quality management system and assurance, transition projects, problem and change management, reporting, supporting and encouraging business to run effectively.
Sales Manager
As a Sales Manager you will be involved in the sale of IBM products, financing and services within a unit. Responsible for customer satisfaction, for maintaining comprehensive knowledge of both the specialty's and competition’s offerings, strategies and plans, maintaining in-depth sales, business and professional skills, and providing input to sales objectives and strategies for the business unit.
SAP Consultant / SAP Basis Administrator
IBM currently employs over 10,000 SAP practitioners in 80 countries across the globe. As an SAP consultant, you’ll work for high-profile clients on projects where you’ll supply specialist analytical and business modeling techniques.
