You'll start your placement with a 2 day residential induction course that will help you understand more about IBM and how we operate. Following your induction, your training and development will focus on 2 key areas - business skills and personal skills. Business skills training will be essential for you to be able to do your job. Personal skills training is not job dependant, it is what you feel will help you with your career development and is controlled entirely by you.

There are literally hundreds of courses available and it will be up to you to find the ones that are most appropriate and appealing to you. These are not only a fantastic way of learning new skills and developing yourself, they will also stand you in great stead for when you return to University after your placement with IBM.
