Before you submit your application with us, you should be thinking about a few things.
Would you like to work at IBM? And why do you want to work at IBM? Find out in advance of submitting an application about the industry and our requirements. You should be able to articulate exactly why you want to work with us and why we should hire you.
You can use the Internet, personal contacts, perhaps you even have a fellow student or friend working with us. Or you could meet us at one of our graduate events.
If you choose to undertake an internship with us, then this could be a ‘door opener’ for a job after graduation. Consider the application as your "calling card".
So, how should your application look? Here are a few things you should avoid, for example:
- Spelling and grammatical errors in the cover letter or curriculum vitae (CV)
- Standard Applications
- Applications with copy errors like a false name
- Applications without any required attachments
Please take the time and apply carefully to the open positions. Your application should strike us positively.
