IBM Software Group

IBM Software Group (SWG) is the world's second largest software business. It includes ibm.com, IBM General Business, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Legal. IBM Sales and Distribution delivers specialised solutions by sector, including Banking, Insurance, Public Sector, Industrial enterprises, and Distribution. Systems & Technology

IBM Systems and Technology Group is responsible for IBM’s hardware, this includes Blades, System x, System p (UNIX based), System i, System z (Mainframe) and System Storage. IBM Systems are being designed around the core principles of collaboration, openness and virtualisation; essential ingredients of the kind of integrated infrastructure that can move businesses to the next generation of computing — collaborative processing.
