There are many different jobs you can do at IBM, you just have to find which path is right for you. We won't pigeon hole you on the basis of your degree. In fact, we'll actively support and encourage you to try different things until you've found your ideal career path.

Sales staff
Sales staff is responsible for the sale and support of IBM solutions, services, products and offerings, including those from IBM Business Partners. These employees are responsible for the overall business relationship with IBM's clients and may specialize by industry, customer set, channel, brand, solution or offering. Members of this profession work collaboratively to provide IBM's clients with the solution which best addresses the client's needs and which will contribute to the client's success in their marketplace.
IT Architect
The IT Architect defines - architects - solutions to client business problems through the reasoned application of information technology. Those solutions are manifested as architectures and can include systems, applications and process components. They may also involve the application and integration of a broad variety of products, technologies and services, various systems and applications architectures, and diverse hardware and software components.
IT Specialist
Sales Professionals are responsible for the sale and support of IBM solutions, services, products and offerings, including those from IBM Business Partners. These professionals are responsible for the overall business relationship with IBM's clients and may specialize by industry, customer set, channel, brand, solution or offering. Members of this profession work collaboratively to provide IBM's clients with the solution which best addresses the client's needs and which will contribute to the client's success in their marketplace.
Consultant

Project Manager
