Integrated in STGs Global Development Team, my the Linux Development and Evaluation team provides the following services and know-how:
- Linux on System z System & Performance Evaluation focuses on testing complex software products, mainly operating systems and on performance evaluation.
- Linux on System z High Availability, Virtualization & CIM Development
- Information Development produces customer documentation for Linux on System z, Linux on Cell/B.E., IBM Director - z/VM Center, IBM Dynamic Infrastructure, SAP on System z, z/VSE and other Boeblingen-owned projects.
- The Virtualization & Linux on System z Development team focuses on enhancing the usability of Linux on System z, on virtualization of embedded power computing platforms and on creating a CIM based infrastructure for the virtualization technology KVM. In addition we are responsible for standards profiles describing system virtualization within the DMTF standards organization.
